Hardcore Irons loves to produce quality tattoo machines, each one handmade with manual machining and good old handwork.  One of our heroes and someone who we hold high respect for is Franklin Paul Rogers (1905-1990). He was an American tattoo artist who trained under Cap Coleman in Norfolk, Virginia from 1945-1950 and he well known for his tattoo machine endeavors. Pauls Tattoo Machines, which he called “Irons”, a term he coined that is used in the industry even by us were a wanted item by tattoo artists.

Tattoo artists from all over the world would visit him in his “Iron Factory” in Jacksonville, Florida where he taught them about the fine art of building tattoo machines.

Our Paul Rogers Tattoo Machines are a tribute to him and all the artists who supported him throughout his career. Each machine is handmade from scratch, we cut each sideplate and do all the filing by hand. The tattoo frame hardware and handmade coils are made from premium materials, Brass, Iron, Copper and lots of love. Each machine built by Hardcore Irons has over 10 hours of craftmanship built into them, none being exactly identical.
